Monstera Leaf Ripping Help - What is Wrong

So today I noticed this brown edge on the fenestration of my monstera, one week ago she didnt have anything of the sort so now I am a bit freaking out. Upon inspecting past photos, I see she had a faint line at that spot that has now ripped - attaching photo of that as well - it is with the red circle. She looks healthy otherwise, growing a new leaf steadily. She is in a mixture of soil for gree plants, orchids soil, perlite and a bit of coconut coir. I havent watered her in a week as the soil is still moist. As the weather here is still not very warm or bright, she is under a growing lamp for the time being and is kept inside at constant temperatures and humidity at around 60%. She is also in a plant bag instead of a pot to allow for better breathing. Any advice or tips would be much appreciated! Thank you!

  • oh i've never seen that before. Overall the plant looks very healthy though which is a good sign. One things that springs to mind is humidity in your house. It has been very hot recently, so perhaps the plant would benefit from daily misting? I would also ask when it was last fed with house plant seaweed based feed? As this could also come perhaps from a lack of nutrition.

Thank you for this! I also have absolutely no idea what is wrong, I have never seen this before and I cant find anything on google :( I am so afraid that it might be some weird fungus or bacteria? I dont know... I keep the humidity around her at an average of 60%, here it is still not that warm (Germany) so she has been in temps at around 20C. I got her 2 weeks ago (she came with those brown spots at the edge of that leaf which I assumed are from watering problems at her previous owner), she came with naked roots (I cut two parts because they were mushy and then applied to the cut root hormone and cinammon) so I potted her instantly in a fresh mix of coconut, soil for green plants, perlite and orchid bark. I havent fertilised her yet but I did mist her with seaweed leaf fertiliser last Sunday.
