Help IDing bug.

Hello all

I have some sunflowers growing and I have seen these bugs around the underside of the leaves and around the new growth of the sunflowers. They are hard to get a picture of as they fly or crawl away as soon as they see you.

Does anybody know what they are and if they are beneficial?

Thank you

Shield bugs ... can’t see which sort ... love them
... it’s a good day in the garden when we spot a Shield bug.

They might suck a bit of sap but they don’t really go any damage and theyre so varied and a beautiful part of nature.

Thanks for your responses. If I can get better picture of them I’ll upload it. They don’t seem to be doing any damage and as you pointed out probably won’t so I’ll leave them be.
