Lawn Invader

Good morning, I have some perennial border plants springIng up in the lawn for the first time. There are plenty of these plants in the adjacent border and they are taking over there as well. Very deep roots like dandelions. I inherited the garden when I bought the house three years ago but have not had this issue before. Any suggestions how to get rid of these pesky plants? Thank you.

Dig them out, same as dandelions.
Alternatively, you could spot-treat them with a lawn weedkiller spray (make sure it's lawn weedkiller or it will kill the grass too), or carefully paint the leaves with glyphosate gel (don't get any on the grass).

Thanks for that. I,ll give the weed killer for lawns a go and try and get the larger plants in the border out, they are pushing up on the patio as well.
