Frost damage

I’ve had a really tough time with the elements. Firstly the gales at the end of April uprooted one of my beautiful trees. Then the frost has burnt the early foliage on some of my roses
my hedges and hydrangeas. Can I just snip them off as this hasn’t happened to me before and I moved to the south west?

I just leave damaged foliage to drop off, unless it's causing some kind of problem.
It's par for the course up here  :)
    What kind of hedge?

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thank you for responding to my cry for help. It’s a beech hedge. It doesn’t look too unsightly
