Help with 2 plants.

Hi all hope you are enjoying your day. Can any of you give me names and advice for the two plants in the photos.
white one is in a pot just marked “bulbs” they have gown very top heavy and until I tied them to the bamboo they were all over the floor!
the pink flowers come back every year but the plants seem very woody and have grown lopsidedly over time, do you think I could trim back to reshape and if yes when?

It is a ground-creeping plant with succulent leaves native to South Africa.
