Courgette Leaves turning Yellow

Hello,

First time grower here, just look for some advice. I have 2 courgettes growing next to each other. One is getting progressively yellower and limper. One seems to be loving life (Although there is slight yellowing on one of the leaves). I can't see any aphids or other bugs and both are in big planters, so have plenty of compost to root in. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? How to revive it? Not sure what variety it is, my son came home with 2 plant pots labelled "courgettes" the day of school lockdown.

Thanks for any help, being a first timer I'm finding there is quite a lot to learn!

p.s. no fertiliser applied as yet.

Thanks again

P

We had this last year with one of our courgette plants.

It may aphids of some sort but also read that it can be water shortage or too much direct sunlight.
Best thing to do is cut off the affected plant parts - just cut off the yellowing leaves, make sure you're watering regularly and see how it recovers. We had yellowing leaves last year early on but still got a very healthy crop.

There was a similar thread before.

I think the consensus was don’t worry about it.
