Reviving plants?

B_leafB_leaf Posts: 42
A bit of a sub question to my last one, is it possible to revive plants which have been attacked by snails/slugs (presuming i have eliminated the pests),and if so, how ?

It depends how much is left. If a growing point is there it should be ok. Don't feed, just wait and keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks Posy, i'll take your advice, though was wondering why you say don't feed?

Because the feeds we give plants are actually designed as stimulants - to make lots of flowers, usually, though some encourage leaf growth. If you are feeling poorly, the last thing you need is to start body-building. Your plants will draw all they need from the soil or good compost at first. Once they begin to recover you can start feeding again, but they need to go slowly while they get over the attack!
