What type of rose is this? (Photos included)

Hi, does anyone know what type of rose this is?

Wondering when I can prune as it's getting very tall and unruly! It's currently growing up against some trellis.

    I think you have 'The Albrighton Rambler' there... allow it to flower and prune after the main flush is over... probably late June/early July, something like that... it should rebloom on new growth...

    I think 'A Shropshire Lad'. In any case, the best time to cut it back a bit is the same, as Marlorena said.

    Oh great! Thanks both! Glad to hear they are both ok to prune soon. It's getting so tall. 

    Any tips on pruning would be welcome - I'm a novice! 🤣

    Hi, I wonder if you guys could advise me on how much I should be watering these roses? Online has conflicting information! 

    In the UK (London), which has been very dry and warm for the last few weeks.
