Identifying 2 plants

Hi does anyone know what these plants are? The first is a 5ft Bush, It had lots of thin stalk like leaves early in the year but small flowers have appeared on these and it now looks stunning!

Quite curious to know what it Is, I thought perhaps a cytisus?



The second plant I thought were strawberries, but these are now about 2ft in height and have yellow flowers, are these 'mock strawberries?

    I think your right, and the weed is a common Geum, I’d get rid of it as quick as possible.

    Yes the first is Cytisus ... possibly the variety ‘Firefly’.

    The first one is Cytisus [broom]
    The second is the wild geum , and can be a pernicious weed. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thanks all much appreciated, I wasn't sure about the weed to start off with when we first moved into the property but my mum convinced me it was a strawberry plant! Haha I will be having words  :D

    Whoops!  Pressed the button too soon. 

    The second is Geum urbanum .,. aka Herb Bennet. 

    It’s a ‘weed’ and seeds everywhere so ... don’t let it!

    Haha maybe I should gift one in a plant pot to my mother! I've got some strawberries I started in the greenhouse at least which have just started to go ripen today :-)
