Why are my Lupins doing this..I water in shade regularly???

    Is it frosting perhaps? We've had some plants "burn" for no apparent reason and we think it's those few really cold nights (and days - that northerly had ice in it!)

    Frost/excessive sun. Often the same effects.
    Never water overhead either, unless it's cloudy, and make sure the watering is suitable - a good canful, then leave for a few days. Not a teacupful every day  :)
    They'll be fine - the old/damaged foliage will drop off, or can be removed when it gets unsightly, and it'll produce more.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Quite. It's been a weird spring when you can't tell if your plants've been nobbled by heat or cold =0
