Acre garnet problem

hi chi I just got this from the supermarket and potted it on and this has happened could anyone one advise me what I have done wrong

    Supermarkets are usually not very good at looking after plants, unless they happen to have a keen gardener on the staff.  The damage was probably done before you bought it, so don't blame yourself.
