Silver Birch

Hello, I bought 25 dry rooted Silver Birch trees in February: they are of various ages; from 2 to 6 years old. As of the 17th May 5 have not yet leafed. Is it too early to tell if they have died in the process of being replanted? Many thanks. Steve

Give them some more time. In most cases, you can tell when it is time to give up, the branches are brittle and light and usually snap easily. So long as they are still supple, keep up with the watering and wait.
