All grand plants for this part of the world @AliMcG. Great job  :)

    Like this: @Fairygirl   :)

Unfortunately, I'm finding the @ thing isn't working well at all just now. Might just be my server or something though.

Thanks - I thought it might be worth a try with the post, there is an option to message but don't want to seem like a weird garden stalker !!

  • hey folks
i'm still here, nothing much has been done!  I bought a few plants, still in pots, my small japanese maple died :(.  We had two years of looking after elderly mum in law, very sick, much better now.  Three months of visitors - lovely but exhausting.  Now my partner Jimmy has some really really painful thing wrong and on morphine so can do nothing.  I found someone to come help with clearing up the billions of leaves, but he's really busy and can't do much more.  Soooo a bit on hold, some plants ready to go in but I need to find a helper.  Need a hip replacement so was reliant on my man to dig the digging etc.  Might need to find some other gardening company to help.  Have even thought of investing in a garden designer to help me get the "bones" of big trees and shrubs sorted.  Easier with smaller plants, can manage a little bit.  Thank you so much for the photos and plant ideas.  I shall store them away for when hopefully things get better. If ever I get anything done i'll share with you :D
  • Your garden looks beautiful btw AliMcG
  • i am more than happy to get pms/emails btw   :)

Sorry you're having such a tough time @y_vonnie_2007. The garden will still be there when you're ready to get stuck in again  :)
No one can email you directly from the forum though - you're the only person who can see your email address. It sometimes causes confusion.  :)
