Buddleia leaf pests

I’ve recently bought a dwarf buddleia and it’s developing 2 leaf problems. One is holes in the leaves and the other is a greyish type discolouration . I don’t know how to combat either and would appreciate advice. Photos attached. Thank you.

Buddleia leaves are naturally greyish.  The rest is either insect damage, or, as it's new, mechanical damage from being handled and transported.  Buddleia is as tough as old boots, I doubt it will suffer any harm.  Do you plan to keep it in a pot?  It will need to go into the ground when it gets bigger.

Thank you. No it is planned to go back in the garden but I dug it up and brought it in hoping the leaves being eaten would stop! But it hasn’t ! I agree I thought buddleia were tough but it’s a dwarf variety and just a small plant at the moment.

Is there any drainage in that other pot it's in? It won't be happy inside for any length of time.
Bit of leaf miner and weevil damage there, not really anything to worry about, but it suggests it's a bit stressed.
As buddleias are quite hard to stress, I'm wondering if it's sitting in water.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thank you. It’s in damp compost but not sitting in water. I will put in back in the garden but was worried in case the bugs spread to other new plants. I bought it about 6 weeks ago and planted it in the garden several weeks back and only recently noticed the bugs.
