Oriental Poppies

Morning all, I have some oriental Poppies that have been faithfully blooming for nigh on 20 years. However this year there are no flower heads. New ones that have self seeded do have flower heads. Any idea what might be going on? Thanks in advance.

    I have some here that have been going strong for 10 years .....this year 3 of them just yellowed and died.  Can’t work out if its the weather conditions this year, or if its some sort of virus 😖

    I remember reading somewhere, that there was some sort of disease affecting Oriental poppies, but can't remember more than that.

    Oh dear. My oriental poppies are not all producing flowers, either. I assumed it was two years of drought but perhaps it is something more sinister. It's a wait and see situation, I guess.

    Mine have eventually come into flower. Hope yours all have too xx
