Planted the wrong grass seed
In my new home my garden had an odd square of flagstones - looked totally out of place.
So I took up the flagstones, put down some topsoil and seeded with grass seed (just bought the first one I saw). Big mistake.
The grass in that square shoots up at a ridiculous speed, needing cutting every week. It is think and you can see the bare earth between the stalks.
How do I "kill" that grass and start again without using pesticides?
