What type of hedging plant is this?

Hi I have this hedge outside my house and it’s doing very well. I can’t find out what it is. Does anybody know? Also, whats the best thing to do to help it to fill out and not get too leggy? Thanks

Thank you - I've done some reading about it online and it says it produces bee-friendly flowers, which I am thrilled about. My main concern is that it's been planted three plants to every 80cm. The hedge is in front of the house so does not need to grow any taller than about three or four feet anyway, but I do want it to fill out. Is it fine to have them quite close together if they are not wanted to grow tall, or will it damage their health regardless?
    Thanks.
