Morning all,
I have a vole problem! I know it’s a vole as we have met in numerous occasions! It has already taken out all my ornamental grasses, but has now taken a fancy to my veg garden and enough is enough! I took the fleece of one of the beds this morning to top dress it ready for planting and there are 4 burrow holes. I’m considering netting the area and putting in traps. Anyone else been successful in ridding voles? I don’t mind a bit of sharing but it’s really getting beyond a joke now. Thanks.

It’s not a protected vole- Water Voles are but not a commoner garden variety. I have many options in terms of release as I’m semi rural. I won’t use poison though. Pesky blighter strolls around the garden like it owns the place lol! It’s taken out clematis and grasses, lost all my beetroot last year among other things, uprooted the primroses and any other plant that gets in the way, digs holes all over the place and furrows the grass. Sits up by the pond like its having a picnic lol! 😂
