Too late to start Brussels?

Our Brussel sprout seeds have only just arrived after much delay. Too late to plant successfully for this year do we think?

    I found a pack hiding in the back of a seed box last week. I sprouted (!) them and the seedlings only poked through this week. So I'd say go for it, and we can both see if we get sprouts for Christmas!

    In one of those magical coincidences literally later the day I posted another allotment holder popped over and asked if we'd like some sprouts as she'd had too many seeds grow successfully. So we have 6 plants now out in a raised bed.
    Fingers crossed for yours in time for Christmas (and for me not managing to kill these off!) :smile:
