Help /advice regarding Inherited Pelargoniums

dutchsockdutchsock Posts: 3
Hi
I have recently inherited some overwintered pelargoniums. Some labelled some not.The labelled ones are Frank Headley and Lady Plymouth. They are currently in small terracotta pots and in my north facing conservatory. I have no experience of this plant really but remember some fantastic floral displays in pots outside. Should I pot them all in one larger pot or single larger pots and put outside or should I just keep them indoors or take more cuttings?
Thanks for ideas and suggestions

I grow several variegated leaves pelargoniums. Mine go outdoors in a sunny spot in the summer, infact ive been moving some outdoors today, I live in the NE. I don't like mixed pots but that's a personal thing. I usually grow one plant to a terracotta pot, obviously the size depends on the plant. I do sometimes plant 2or 3 to a large pot. Lady Plymouth has a lovely leaf scent and pretty leaves but I find the flowers messy and insignificant so snip them off. Take cuttings, they're easy, in August and overwinter them indoors as you may not have the facilities to overwinter large plants ..but let's not talk about winter yet!

Thanks I'm in the Midlands so it makes me feel less worried about putting in pots outside in the next week or so.

My pelargoniums were left outside all winter in a wall basket and have all come back well. I live in Midlands and I was surprised but we did have a very mild winter.

Has anyone tried any good planting combinations?
