Broad bean leaves curling

Hi all, I've got some broad beans growing in a raised bed and some in pots (different compost in each) and some in the ground. All of them have developed curled leaves, looks like they're shrivelled although still growing. What could this be? They're old seeds from last year but grew perfectly well then (different garden). I've kept them well watered. I can't see any bugs on them apart from some ants but there are lots in this garden so not sure if relevant..... do I need to worry? I've got some seeds of a different variety but is it too late to plant now?

My broad beans are doing the same! About eight inches tall but the top 2/3 sets of leaves have curled and look dry (although they’re not). Otherwise they look pretty healthy, they have flowers, but maybe a hint of yellowing on the lower leaves. They seemed fine on Friday, but today not so good, so whatever it is, it’s happened pretty rapidly. They look exactly like Julia’s photo. Any suggestions?

Oh dear ... it looks as if this may be another case of contaminated compost ... we've come accross it in earlier years. What brand of compost did you use on the bed where you're growing beans? Or did you buy a load of manure?
