Vine weevil 😢

I've moved my strawberries that have come back from last year and found vine weevil in the compost  :'( I've ordered some nematodes but they won't be here until the middle of next week at the earliest, what should I do in the meantime? Will they kill the plants between now and then and as they've been in the greenhouse with everything else do I need to worry about it all dying off? Only my second year growing properly and never had to deal with these before

In addition to @philippa smith2's excellent advice, keep them outside.  :)

Strawberries are perfectly hardy. The only advantage to having them in a greenhouse is to attain an earlier crop, but it does give pests and diseases a better chance of getting into them.  You may need to just give them a couple of days outside and nights back inside so that they're properly adjusted, especially if they've been very cossetted :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
