Be careful about buying young plants..they may take years before they flower.
Buy one that already has flowers.

Hi, I have a 15 year old wisteria that started to bud about 3 weeks ago and suddenly stopped. It should be full of flowers by now. The trunk and branches appear to be healthy but the buds when removed have a very small amount of green surrounded by brown layers. I, m not much of a gardener so help is much appreciated.

Hi, I have a large potted Wisteria. I suspect grown from seed. It will be about 15 years old so no flowering as yet but the foliage is healthy. It is stood on a patio and I have been told it will grow through the bottom of the pot and lift my patio slabs. The whole currently stands at about 6 ft tall and it is a lovely Acer type shape. Any advice please? Bit worried now.
