i have 2 tulips with a coloured swelling between the leaves at the base of the plant.
One tulip is in the garden, the other in a pot. Has anyone any idea what they are

tried but couldn't get the picture any smaller so split the post.
So, i wonder if anyone knows what the 'lump 'is.
