hi does any body no what is happening to my cheals weeping cherry blossom tree is this normal it has the spots on the first picture and the red on the second picture thanks
They look like scale insects to me. They have a tough outer covering but you can use methylated spirit dabbed on them. Not a good idea to use cotton buds these days but something similar and less polluting! I hope that helps.
1st and 2nd pic..the red bumps on the leaf stem .base of the leaves are extrafloral nectaries. Perfectly normal. Perfectly healthy.
