Plant id please: leaf looks a bit like japanese anemone...

Would anyone be able to tell me whether the palmate/pinnate (?) shaped leaf plant is a weed or not, please? It's near a japanese anemone so I initially left them to grow as the leaf looked similar but I'm not convinced as these have sprung up rather more rapidly than it took the anemone to kick off! Thanks for any pointers.
