I adore Acers..used to have a huge collection.
Both Acer sp and Acer palmatum named trees.
They are all wonderful. Difficult to chose a favourite.

The older you get, the more you realise that it is OK to live a life others don't understand.
I have Orangeola. Dark just now, becoming green in summer then orange in autumn. It's a new one to me. Very pleased with it.
The dark ones are nearly all lovely @KeenOnGreen - especially the dissectums. Garnet is nice too.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
This nursery has them https://www.hippopotteringmaples.co.uk/the-ghost-series-35-c.asp
Brilliantissimum has pale leaves which then eventually mature to green but it’s a sycamore type. Acer pseudoplatanus,
East facing, top of a hill clay-loam, cultivated for centuries (7 years by me). Birmingham
Acer pseudoplatanus Brilliantissimum is a tree that for one week of the year looks amazing. Make sure you give it the space it needs.
Very sadly the rest of the year it is completely boring.
Unlike Acer palmatum it has no stunning colour in the autumn.
Butterfly is correct Brilliantissimum is a fancy Sycamore.
I used to love these trees..until on Gardeners Question Time on Radio 4 years ago the panel were asked for their most hated plants.
The answer from one lady on the panel was this tree.
From then on it completely changed how I thought about them.
It is glorious for a few days...they then becomes very boring for the rest of the year.
