Bare root

Hi
not a very experienced Gardner but want to plant bare root fruit trees and train them along wires fixed to a fence .Is it ok to do that now or is it to late

    It’s too late this year. Trees are only lifted and sold as ‘bare roots’ during the winter when the trees are dormant. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Thank you ,can you train other fruit trees to follow wires .
