Patio fruit tree

Eileen107Eileen107 Posts: 94
I seem to have shoots & 1 large branch growing from below the grafting point on one of my patio fruit trees. The leaves are much darker than the rest of the tree. Could anyone advise on whether I should leave these or cut them off.
thankyou Eileen 107

If they are definitely from below the graft then you should remove them or they will take over and the grafted part will suffer or even die.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
