Oh Marshalls!

I have to admit to having been lucky with online plant shopping so far...but this morning received my bare root strawberry order from Marshalls and was amazed to discover that because they run out of one variety in bare root form they instead squeezed five small plants taken out of their small pots in an envelope and sent alongside the bare roots. Will repot and see how we get on...but what a stupid way to sent out potted plants without any protection in a jiffy bag.

We all know they're dealing with massive order backlogs but this isn't exactly endearing them to me. If only my favourite nearby nurseries were delivering...

No way I'm going to a garden centre @Lyn I find the non advice from the government utterly irresponsible. Will arrange a curbside collection for some annuals from a favourite nursery that sent me their catalogue, and that's it.
