What to do with this?

I believe ive come across a peony, it was amonst ivy, grass and a whole other host  of weeds, surprised it got to the stage it did where it was, not sure what kind it is, maybe common peony, Ive got it in a large pot just now and wondering what to do with it? Any ideas.

    Sure.

    There is a possibility that it could be a Tree paeony. It would grow happily in a tub that size for a while but you could just plant it into a space in your garden. Its a lucky find.

    My prolem is siting it, my garden was severly neglected and im just getting round to fixing it, other problem is its open so most of the garden gets a lot of sun, does it do well in full sun?

    That is a paeony's preferred siting. You could leave it in a big pot for now - move it around as you do your garden clearing.
