    Yes, I've seen much worse ... but some of them are very dry at the roots so I'd give them a good soak, pot them up and put them somewhere sheltered from the wind and shady for a bit to let them recover ... they'll be a lot perkier by the time this cold wet spell of weather is over and you'll be able to plant them out. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Left them overnight in water and they don’t look any more alive. I would be ashamed to put them in my garden.  I am glad I only have one lot of plants still on order as I am tired of parcels of dead plants.
