What is this?

I've found horsetail on one side of the garden, it was definitely that, it had a spore pod with it. But there is this on the other side, I thought it was horsetail too, but it's got small white flowers. Does anyone know what this is?

That's Bittercress - has exploding seed pods and seeds get everywhere, especially in pots, and yours looks like it's about to release.  Pull them up asap as the seeds can take only 5 weeks from germination to seeding themselves!

I've found them growing in a pile of sand and in a bucket of water. They'll grow anywhere!
