Our judas tree was covered in purple buds a couple of weeks ago but they never opened. Now they all look as if they are dying. What might be the problem? We've tried giving the tree enty of water but maybe we're too late?
Thanks. I planted it about 8 years ago in my garden in Leicestershire. Hope you're right! It didn't flower at all. Buds just started to form then shrivelled.

Maybe flowers killed by cold snap at night.
Just wait to see if the leaves grow ....the shrub might be fine.
