Increased Sparrow Sightings

Just wondering if there is an increase of sightings of any particular bird in the UK since reduced airline activity. In Canada-BC specifically-the sparrows are making a huge comeback. They are coming in droves-people are complaining that their feeders are being mobbed. Their population has been far less for the past 20 years. ...and no, it's not because more people are home to notice them

I think post lockdown, the pollution that kills the live food that sparrows need in the first few days of life has decreased so we might see even more.
