For keeping seeds I wrap the opened inner packet in a bit of clingfilm (pressed flat to keep the air out), back in the outer packet then all the packets go in an old ice-cream tub in the shed. It seems to work fine.

I only grow undercover. Sungold is fine. Just pinch out at the height suitable,as others have said No food until the first truss of fruit is set. They have plenty of nutrition on the compost they're in as they grow and get potted on. Just keep a consistent watering regime.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@Fire Aww that’s so kind! I should expect to receive the seeds I ordered within a week or so.. if I don’t then I would love to take up your offer - it will probably take your seeds just as long to arrive as the whole delivery network has been affected by the lockdown..
