Wild Geum?

Sazz101Sazz101 Posts: 248
Hello. Pease could someone confirm my fear that I’ve been nurturing 2 wild (flower less) geum for the last 3 months? The other three have started flowering but these two look rather ‘flat’ and the flower buds on the larger one look very small.  Want to double check before I dig up. Thanks in advance :)

Thank first one looks like a wild one, the other looks like a good one. Did you plant any last year?

Thanks Lyn. Bought and planted a selection of weedy looking sale geum late last year. So makes sense if the second one is a slow to take goody. Will dig out the bigger one. Thanks :)

You could wait till it flowers, if it’s just a small yellow flower, get rid of it but the other ones good.

It’s already out.. but I’m sure you are right. The buds are nothing like the others in size.
