Fatsia Japonica Wilting

Hi,

I have a Fatsia Japonica that I planted 2 years ago.  It did ok last year but this year it seems to be wilting.  I just wondered if anyone has any suggestions.  It’s planted in a very clay soil,  it’s been warm lately but the soil is moist.

Many thanks

  • It’s facing west so is in shade for around half of the day.  I did mix in a compost mix with the surrounding soil when I planted

Wilting is often a sign of insufficient water and it's been a very dry spring. Give it a really good soak as first option.
  • Hi Russell. Ok I’ll give that a try,  thankyou
