Tall 4mts all year foliage

Thanks to my neighbor building a Workshop/Garage and office I have lost a beautiful view overlooking field and nature reserve.
Can anyone suggest any flowering/evergreen up 4mts high other than Bamboo.

Many thanks Paul

I put this one on for someone else today

Solanum Crispum glasnevin will cover a fence in a single season,  cut down in Spring it will grow very quickly, I had to dig mine out, with a pick axe😀 much too big, but will suit your 6’ fence.   Seems to grow anywhere and in any soil.

Semi evergreen and nice purple flowers.
Heres the one I dug out.  I cut it down to about 18” every year and still got this much growth.
Bought in Morrison for about 1.50.  It had only been in the  ground for about 3 years.
Lots of google images showing bigger ones.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

It's going to take a while for anything to get big enough to disguise that completely.
A screen/pergola with climbers would be better. It's a common query on the forum, and single specimens are rarely the best solution.
The solanum isn't reliably hardy here, so it depends where you are.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Wow Lyn this is a quick grower just what I'm looking for and should be ideal for our climate in sunny Coventry. Thanks for posting.

That's a really good idea, Lyn!
