Wrong fertiliser!

Unfortunately I mixed up my miracle grow rose granules with my miracle grow rhododendron granules and scattered/dug into the soil, the rhododendron granules all over and around my roses (and other plants too) last week by mistake and only just realised... Does anyone know what the likely consequences may be?

    Won't be any. Roses don't care much about soil acidity  and the amount of fertiliser in granules would not affect the soil in any case. Same with most perennials. They will all just accept the food.

    Thank you for putting my mind at rest.
    In that case, when would you recommend feeding my roses and surrounding plants again, with the correct granules of course!

    To be honest, I rarely if ever feed any plants which are in the soil, unless they are showing signs of suffering. To me it is better to feed the soil with a good humus rich mulch than to give the plants artificial stimulation. So, personally I would just let them get on with it.
