Devon gardens to visit?

Hi everyone, last summer I took a little solo trip to Kent and Sussex to visit gardens for a few days, and had the most lovely time. I’d like to start planning for when we can finally travel safely again, and am thinking of heading to Devon this time. Any suggestions of gardens (or places of gardening interest)to visit please would be much appreciated - I’ll get a lot of enjoyment planning my itinerary whilst at home right now!

Hotel Endsleigh, near Tavistock, I think, permits visitors to walk in their grounds (you might just have to buy a cream tea though. I've never been but hear they are well worth a visit.
Two gardens close to each other are The Garden House and Wildside, near Buckland Monochorum (off the Plymouth to Tavistock Road). Both fantastic.

  • Thank you so much everyone, some great suggestions to get me started! Can definitely cope with crossing county lines :) I got my year’s money’s worth from my (new at the time) NT membership during last year’s little trip so will be sure to make the most of it this time too!
