Chelsea Chop

Has anyone done the Chelsea Chop yet? As everything is a good two weeks ahead of "normal" in our garden wondering whether to do it now. But cold weather coming in - should I wait until next weekend?

    I've never done it - nothing here is ever grown big enough by that time anyway.
    There was a thread recently about it though.
    I very much doubt the 'cold weather' will be that cold. It's simply because it's been hotter than usual that people will think it's now the opposite, when it'll really just be more like the normal temps would be. 
    However, you could wait if you're concerned.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I've done one of my larger sedums. Might leave the smaller ones.

    I’ve done the phlox and nepeta that were big enough last week. Used the trimmings for cuttings. Most of the others in my garden aren’t far enough along yet.
