Daphne aureomarginata

My well established, well loved 20+years old Daphne has developed what looks like dead, yellowing whole parts of the plant. Please can anyone help with an answer.

    How old was your plant, maybe they come to the end of their lifespan.

    mine was about 10 years old

    I have one of a similar age, about 25. It has been yellowing for a couple of years, but always manages to flower prolifically early Spring. Although that could also be a sign if coming to the end of it's life. I don't expect it to last another 25 years - mind I might not either!

    Well, thank you Yorkshire rose, I will keep an eye on it, the lower half so far looks o.k
    I know jolly well I won't last another 25 years. 😊
