Plant ID please

Happy Bank Holiday all! Please can anyone ID this plant growing at the base of a friend’s fence? I’d have said an asplenium, except that it has long stalks and spikes down the back. Many thanks, Johnny

    I'd say teasel too.
    It's definitely not an Asplenium  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Mine grew to about 10' tall last year!!
