Red standing spots on tree leaves

Hello everyone.
I have a tree which has standing red spots on the leaves.
Wondering if anyone knows if this is a disease or some kind of insect eggs. If it's a disease I think I'll cut it out as I don't want it to go to my other plants.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thank you. 😊

Nothing to worry about - they're galls, a local infection which your tree will shrug off.

The galls are caused by invisibly tiny little leaf mites ... they bite the leaf and the tree protects itself by forming the hard red layer around the mite. The mite lives and reproduces within the gall. The whole process does no harm to the tree other than make little red bumps on the leaves.
    Isn’t nature fascinating? 😊

Thank you for your help. Also do any of you know what type of tree is that? (It grows like weed, so invasive) we were thinking to graft a lilac tree branch into) I really appriciate any help.

It's a sycamore.  Grafting a different species of tree onto it simply won't work.
They are indeed considered a weed species and are unsuitable for small gardens so I would fell it now, while it is still small enough to tackle yourself, and then grow something nice instead. :)
