Are these weeds or leafy vegetable?

Hi, This year I am seeing a lot of these heart shaped green leaf plants in my garden. Are these weeds or leafy vegetable? Thanks

They look like lesser celandine Ficaria verna to me, so whether you think it is a weed or not is up to you, I have tons of the stuff and quite enjoy it's bright yellow flowers in early spring. If it is celandine those leaves will vanish very soon to re-appear next spring.

As to edibility, Lesser celandine is mildy poisonous raw but it is meant to be ok cooked.
