Bulbs for shade?

Hi - I have a narrow strip of soil at the foot of a wall, it's mostly North facing, and doesn't get much direct light at all in early Spring.  I'd like to plant some bulbs there, and am looking for ideas please!  Ideally something with a little bit of height, I don't really mind what colour.  Thanks
