Following my other post 
has anyone got favourite kind 
I’m leaning on eirther 

Phormium cookianum 

subsp. hookeri'Tricolor'

Or yellow wave 

I’m in Scotland so wondering if they ok over winter

    They're fine here, but they tend to get a bit of rust. I just cut out the affected foliage every spring.
    Cream Delight is my favourite. Yellow Wave needs dividing quite often or it loses it's variegation.
    My photos aren't working just now or I'd post a pic
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I really like that 
    I take it’s fast growing 
    what’s that lovely white foliage plant behind it looks beautiful

    It's a white Genista [broom]
    It has grown well, but it's in a perfect spot - in the corner of a raised bed, in a south west facing site. It gets all the weather, but as I said - I just remove anything shredded  :)
