Whose Eggs are These?

Was doing my morning inspection and found some eggs on the underside of one of my heucherellas. Do they belong to something I want in the garden or something that'll eat half of it given the chance? I did wonder whether they might belong to a ladybird but a Google image search shows them to be ovate rather than the round ones I have.

I hope it's the kind whose caterpillars don't like to feast on heucheras/heucherellas. I've already had a couple get significantly munched on this year!

Don't think it's snails. I believe they tend to lay them in soil much like slugs and are white/translucent.

Insects generally lay their eggs on a suitable food plant, so whatever they are (I also suspect a moth judging by the shape/colour/laying pattern) they will very likely start munching when they hatch..
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
