Jasmine plant that doesn't grow much or flower

Hi all, I hope I can get some advice please. I have had this Jasmin plant for two years now and it barely grows. Last year I spoke to a garden centre and they suggested I feed it which I did and it actually flowered within a couple of weeks but it has hardly grown at all this year again and hasn't had a single flower. Not even a sign of future flowers. I have attached pictures, I feel the leaves don't look particularly healthy either and have pruned of some dried up leaves and leaves. I have regularly fed and watered it so am now at a loss what I can do. Any advice greatly appreciated.

    I know you mention you have fed it, but the soil does look like it needs more bulking up with more compost of well rotted manure. I would prune out some of the tips, even if there are some small leaves on them. The idea is to create more branching further down. The plant may also need a lot more watering to keep the roots cool and growing into the surrounding soil. They don't do well in exposed areas, especially without back protection, they may suffer a bit over the winter months.

    Thank you! This compost was jack's magic we put it in about 6 weeks ago now I've the top of the soil we had which I think is clay soil due to where we live. We have got cabbages and beetroot growing near it so I will try adding extra composte then. Do you recommend a particular brand?

    Has the Jasmine been recently moved into that bed? (I'm wondering because you said you've had it for two years but put the compost in 6 weeks ago).

    No we didn't move the jasmine just put a box around its area and added extra soil in top

    Any type of compost will be fine. It will open up heavy soils and bulk up light soils. Will need to do that every year. Generous amounts mixed in.

    I'm sure someone who knows jasmines will be along soon but not all plants like having additional soil/compost built up around them. Not sure whether jasmine is one of those. However that's too recent to be the cause of the poor performance so hopefully it will be able to get its roots into the new stuff.
